Lissa Layland lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and rescue greyhound. She is a lifelong learner and likes to collect postgraduate qualifications, and has freelanced for several Australian publications. As a child, she wrote and performed theatre performances that were essentially pantheon fanfiction for her endlessly patient classmates. Given this, it's no surprise that she gravitates to romance, fantasy and science fiction as both a reader and writer today.
